Customer Service Questions

For an overview of all shipping costs, please check out the page shipping costs and delivery. You'll find all the info you need on shipping fees and delivery times there.
The delivery time for your order depends on the delivery address (destination country). For shipments within the Netherlands and Belgium, your order will typically arrive the next day (except on Sundays) if placed before 11:00 PM, and for punch bags, the cut-off time is 9:00 PM. For a full overview of delivery times, head to the page shipping costs and delivery.
No worries! The courier will make 3 delivery attempts. If you're not home, they might deliver the package to your neighbors. For large items like punch bags, that may not be ideal. You can always leave a note requesting not to leave it with the neighbors or suggesting an alternate location like your garden or under a carport.
Sometimes one box gets delivered first, and the other might come later or even the next day. This happens if two courier services are used or if items like punch bags are packed in separate boxes, which can get split up during sorting.
If you want to make changes or cancel your order, just contact us through the contact form or give us a call at 0031 (0)85 888 1015.
All the steps for returning your order can be found on the returns page, where you'll also find the return form. Once we receive your completed form, we’ll send you instructions on how to send your package back.
That’s frustrating! Could the email have landed in your ‘Spam’ or ‘Junk’ folder? If not, feel free to reach out via the contact form or call us at 0031 (0)85 888 1015.
We’re really sorry to hear you're not happy with our products or service. We'd like to make things right. Please let us know the details of your complaint through the contact form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. The more details you provide, the better we can help.

Questions about Free Standing Punching Bags

The advantage of a free standing punching bag is that you can move it wherever and whenever you want. Unlike a hanging bag, you can also fill a stand to the weight that suits you best. Plus, there’s no need to drill holes in walls or ceilings.
The free standing punching bag comes in two boxes. One contains the base with a flexible connector, and the other contains the striking part.
The striking part comes with instructions on how to assemble the stand. You can also check out the video on the product page for a clearer guide on assembly.
Once the rubber plugs are in place, they can be tricky to remove. You can use a screwdriver to pry them out from the side. If that doesn’t work, try inserting the screwdriver slightly into the plug and pull it out.
There’s an opening in the base that can hold up to 150 kg. We recommend filling it with sand or fine gravel. Water is also an option, but it’s less stable, and if there’s a small leak, it will start to spill. A funnel can be used when filling, though it's not included.
On most surfaces, the free standing punching bag will stay in place. However, this depends on how hard you punch and kick. For smooth surfaces, you can use an anti-slip mat, which makes it almost impossible for the free standing punching bag to move. These mats are available for a few euros at stores like Blokker.
You can move the free standing punching bag by pulling the base or rolling it. Never pull on the striking part.
Yes, it can. However, we recommend placing the standing boxing pole under a roof or using a Boxing Pole / Dummy Protective Cover Waterproof and UV-resistant around it.
The RAM XL free standing punching bags have a larger diameter, providing more striking surface, which many users find more comfortable. In terms of quality, there’s no difference.

Questions about (Kick)Boxing Gloves

If you're new to (kick)boxing and don’t have much experience or technique, we recommend using (kick)boxing gloves. You can use these for both punching bag stands and hanging bags, and also for sparring during training. (Kick)boxing gloves have thick foam padding, providing good protection, including for your thumb. Bag gloves often have an open thumb and less padding, which gives you more feel when punching but also increases the risk of injury if you don’t make a proper fist. When using bag gloves on a punching bag or stand, there's a chance of mis-hitting, like striking at an angle or hitting the bag with your thumb, which can cause injuries. Once you have more experience and better technique, you can use bag gloves for your bag workouts to preserve your (kick)boxing gloves. With thinner padding, bag gloves allow you to train more precisely and focus on technique.
Bag gloves are specifically designed for use with punching bags or stands due to their thinner padding. They often have an open thumb to help you form a good fist. If you’re new to using gloves, this can lead to injuries if you strike the bag incorrectly. (Kick)boxing gloves, on the other hand, can be used for both punching bags and sparring. They have thick foam padding and a closed thumb for better protection. Another key difference is that bag gloves come in sizes like S, M, L, or XL, while (kick)boxing gloves are sized by weight in ounces, such as 8oz, 10oz, 12oz, etc.
No, it’s not recommended. Bag gloves are only meant for use with punching bags or stands. They have thinner padding, allowing you to feel more and focus on your technique. However, using them for sparring greatly increases the risk of injury for both you and your opponent.
The size of boxing gloves is based on their weight, measured in ounces (oz). The size is determined by the athlete’s weight, as each athlete should train with gloves proportional to their body weight. A general guideline is that for every 5-6 kg of body weight, you should use 1 oz of glove weight.
  • 6 OZ: competitions, punching bags, junior size (< 35 kg)
  • 8 OZ: competitions, punching bags, junior size (35 - 45 kg)
  • 10 OZ: competitions, punching bags (45 - 55 kg)
  • 12 OZ: competitions, punching bags, training (55 - 65 kg)
  • 14 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (65 - 85 kg)
  • 16 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (75 - 90 kg)
  • 18 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (85 - 100 kg)
  • 20 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (> 95 kg)
  • XS: small children's hands
  • S: children's hands, small women’s hands
  • M: women’s hands, small men’s hands
  • L: regular men’s hands
  • XL: large men’s hands
  • XXL: very large men’s hands

Questions about Punching Bags

The advantage of a hanging bag is that it’s suspended, leaving nothing on the floor. Hanging bags come in various sizes, and the larger, heavier bags are very stable. They also tend to be more affordable than stands. However, you’ll need to drill into a wall, ceiling, or beam, they can be noisy during use, and they’re not as easy to move around.
All of our punching bags come with a 30 cm hanging chain.
You'll need a chain and a ceiling or wall mount to hang the bag. The chain comes with the punching bag, but you'll need to purchase a wall mount or ceiling bracket separately.
No, a punching bag can be used just fine without a swivel. The swivel allows the bag to rotate freely, which reduces strain on the bag. While not necessary, using a swivel can extend the bag's lifespan. You attach the swivel between the chain and the mounting system.
No, a punching bag works fine without a spring. The spring absorbs shock and reduces noise by absorbing impact. While not required, a spring can be helpful in noise-sensitive environments. The spring is attached between the chain and the mounting system.
There are several ways to do this. You can use wall brackets, ceiling mounts, hooks, etc. Use M8 wood screws or M8 anchor bolts, and never hang a punching bag from a drywall ceiling. The key is to avoid hanging it too high or too low. Typically, it’s best to hang the top of the bag about 10 cm higher than your own height. However, if you need more chain to reach the correct height, the bag will swing more during use. If the ceiling is too high, a wall bracket is preferable.
  • 140 - 180 cm: A punching bag suitable for both punches and kicks. Due to its weight, it’s quite stable and doesn’t swing around too much.
  • 100 - 130 cm: A bag mainly for punches. Its weight makes it fairly stable as well.
  • 80 - 90 cm: A punching bag for children up to 12 years old.
  • 60 - 70 cm: A junior punching bag for children up to 8 years old.
Yes, it can be. This can be especially annoying for neighbors. It depends on where and how the bag is hung, but it can cause a lot of vibration and noise. Our punching bag spring can help reduce this.
