Questions to Customer Service

For orders within the Netherlands, we charge €5.95. Exceptions are packages from 24 KG (especially large hanging punching bags), for these we charge €9.95 up to 32 KG, €19.95 up to 80 KG and €39.95 over 80 KG in shipping costs. For an overview of all shipping costs to other countries, please refer to the page shipping costs and delivery . There you will find all the information about shipping costs and delivery times.
The delivery time of your order depends on the delivery address (destination country). Shipments within the Netherlands and Belgium are normally delivered the next day (Sunday excepted) if ordered before 10 p.m., and for boxing poles it is 9 p.m. For a complete overview of all delivery times, please refer to the page shipping costs and delivery . There you will find all the information about delivery times and shipping costs.
Basically, there are 3 delivery attempts, so should you not be home, don't panic. Shipments may also be delivered to neighbors. In the case of boxing poles and punching bags, sometimes it is not desirable for the neighbors to receive it. You can always put up a bill and indicate that you don't want it delivered to the neighbors. You can also indicate on a bill in your absence that the couriers can place it in the garden or under a shelter, for example.
It sometimes happens that 1 box is delivered and the other is delivered at a later time or even a day later. This may be because 2 courier services were used, or in the case of boxers, the 2 boxes were separated in the sorting process at GLS because 1 of the 2 boxes is a different size and ends up on a different sorting belt.

Questions about boxing poles

The advantage of a boxing pole is that you can move it wherever and whenever you want. Unlike a punching bag, you can also fill a punching bag to the weight that is best for you. You also don't need to drill holes in walls or ceilings.
The Boxing Pole comes in two boxes. The base with a flexible spacer and in the other box the base.
Included with the punching part is a description of how to assemble the boxing pole. You can also watch the video on the product page, here you can see more clearly how to assemble the boxing pole.
Once the rubber plugs are attached, it seems impossible to take them out again. With a screwdriver on the side of the cap, you can pop them right out. If this doesn't work, you can insert the screwdriver a bit into the cap and pull it out.
There is an opening in the base that is easy to fill up to 150 kg. We recommend sand or fine gravel. Water can also be used, but is less stable and once there is a small opening somewhere in the base, it will leak.
On most surfaces, the boxing pole stays in place. Of course, it does depend on how hard you punch and kick. If the surface is slippery, you can use an anti-slip mat, which will make moving from its place almost impossible. You can buy these mats for a few euros.
De bokspaal kun je verplaatsen door aan de voet te trekken of de voet te laten rollen. Trek nooit aan het stootgedeelte.
The RAM XL posts have a larger diameter and thus are even wider. Therefore, there is even more touch surface, which many users really like. Qualitatively, there is no difference at all.
These are identical, only the logo is different.

Questions about gloves

If you don't have much experience and technique yet, we recommend using (kick) boxing gloves. You can use these against both a boxing pole and punching bag, and you can also spar with them during training. (Kick)boxing gloves have a thick foam padding which means you always have good protection, including for your thumb. Boxing baggloves often have an open thumb and less thick padding. This certainly gives more feeling during punches, but also makes you more likely to get injured if you don't make a good fist. When using punching bag gloves on a boxing pole or punching bag, there is a chance that you will not hit properly, for example, slanting or hitting the bag with your thumb. This can cause nasty injuries. If you have a little more experience and technique you can also use punching bag gloves for on the boxing pole or punching bag this way your (kick) boxing gloves will be saved. Because punching bag gloves are less thick, you can train in a more focused manner and focus on your technique.
Boxing bag gloves are only suitable for use against a boxing pole or punching bag, this because of the thinner padding in the gloves. Also, boxing bag gloves often have an open thumb to make a good fist. If you have never punched with gloves before, this can cause injuries when you hit the boxing pole or punching bag the wrong way. (Kick)boxing gloves can be used against a boxing pole or punching bag, and you can spar with these. The thick layer of foam padding and closed thumb provide good protection for your hands. Another difference between boxing bag gloves and (kick)boxing gloves is that boxing bag gloves have different sizes, for example: s,m,l, or xl, with (kick)boxing gloves this is indicated in weight, indicated in ounces, for example: 8oz, 10oz,12oz,14oz and so on.
No, rather not. Boxing bag gloves are only suitable for use against a punching bag or boxing pole. The punching bag gloves are filled with thinner padding, allowing you to feel more and work better on your technique. If you start sparring with boxing bag gloves, there is a high chance of injury to both you and your opponent.
The size of boxing gloves is based on weight, expressed in oz called ounces. Because every athlete is supposed to train with boxing gloves proportional to his or her weight, the size of the boxing gloves is determined according to the athlete's body weight. Here, as a starting point, 1 Oz can be calculated for every 5-6 kg of body weight.
  • 6 OZ: matches, punching bags, junior size (< 35 kg)
  • 8 OZ: competitions, punching bags, junior size (35 - 45 kg)
  • 10 OZ: matches, punching bags (45 - 55 kg)
  • 12 OZ: competitions, punching bags, training (55 - 65 kg)
  • 14 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (65 - 85 kg)
  • 16 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (75 - 90 kg)
  • 18 OZ: punching bags, sparring, training (85 - 100 kg)
  • 20 OZ: punching bags, sparring training (> 95 kg)
  • XS: small child's hand
  • S: children's hands, small ladies' hand
  • M: ladies' hand, small men's hand
  • L: normal men's hand
  • XL: large men's hand
  • XXL: very large men's hand

Questions about punching bags

The advantage of a punching bag is that you can hang it and there is nothing on the ground. A punching bag ia available in many sizes and especially the large heavy bags hang very stable. Also, the prices of most punching bags are a bit lower. However, you will have to drill into a wall, ceiling or beam, it can make a fair amount of noise during use and, of course, you cannot easily move the bag.
All our punching bags come with a suspension chain with a length of 30 cm
You will need a chain and a ceiling bracket or wall mount to hang the punching bag from. The chain comes with the punching bag, a wall mount or hanging bracket you need to order separately.
No, the punching bag can be used just fine without the swivel. The swivel allows the punching bag to rotate freely, reducing forces on the punching bag. So a swivel is not necessary but you will prolong the life of the punching bag with it. A swivel attaches between the chain and the suspension system.
No, without a spring, the punching bag can be used just fine. The punching bag spring catches the shocks and acts as a sound absorber as the shocks are absorbed by the spring. So a punching bag spring does not have to but can certainly be useful if it is noisy. You attach the punching bag spring between the chain and the suspension system.
This can be done in several ways. There are wall brackets, ceiling brackets, hooks, etc. Use M8 wood screws or M8 jack screws, and never hang a punching bag from a drywall ceiling. Most important is not to hang the bag too high but certainly not too low either. It is usually best to hang the top 10 cm higher than your own height. But beware, if you need more chain to hang the bag at the correct height, the punching bag will sway more and more with use. If the ceiling is too high, prefer to use a wall bracket.
  • 140 - 180 cm: A punching bag for both punching and kicking. Also, due to its weight, this punching bag is quite stable and thus does not swing in all directions.
  • 100 - 130 cm: A punching bag for punching only. Because of the weight, this punching bag still hangs quite stable.
  • 80 - 90 cm: A punching bag for children up to 12 years old.
  • 60 - 70 cm: A junior punching bag for children up to 8 years old.
Yes, you certainly can. And that is especially unpleasant for the neighbors. It depends, of course, on where and how you have hung the bag, but it can be quite thrumming when using the punching bag. Our punching bag spring can certainly reduce this.
